1. Agreement to Terms

Typer Beast provides free, browser-based typing speed tests, Words Per Minute (WPM) calculations, key rollover diagnostic utilities, and educational guides for touch typing mastery.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Typer Beast grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, personal license to access and use the platform for:

• Personal skill self-assessment and keyboard training;
• Classroom educational use by teachers, students, and academic institutions; and
• Non-commercial candidate evaluation and skill benchmarking in corporate hiring environments.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

Unless otherwise indicated, the platform in its entirety—including the underlying source code, Astro components, algorithms, user interface designs, audio soundboards, interactive keyboard heatmaps, stylesheets, databases, articles, and graphics—is the proprietary property of Typer Beast and is protected by United States, European, and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

Except as explicitly provided herein, no part of Typer Beast may be copied, reproduced, aggregated, republished, uploaded, posted, publicly displayed, encoded, translated, transmitted, distributed, sold, licensed, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose whatsoever without our express prior written permission.

4. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct

You agree to use Typer Beast only for lawful educational purposes and in strict accordance with these Terms. You specifically agree not to:

• Deploy automated scripts, bots, spiders, or scrapers to generate artificial typing test scores or falsify benchmark telemetry;
• Interfere with, disrupt, or create an undue burden on the platform's hosting servers, networks, or cloud infrastructure;
• Attempt to bypass, circumvent, or disable any rate-limiting, security features, or content protection mechanisms;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or derive the proprietary source code of our typing analytics engines;
• Use any robot, scraper, or deep-link mechanism to systematically extract data, wordlists, or articles without explicit authorization; or
• Engage in any automated click fraud or manipulation of third-party advertisements displayed across the platform.

5. Third-Party Advertisements & External Links

Typer Beast delivers third-party digital advertisements served by Google AdSense and other programmatic ad exchanges. These third-party ads are marked and segregated from primary platform content.

We do not endorse, guarantee, warrant, or assume responsibility for any product, service, software, or claim advertised by third-party vendors on our site. Any transactions, purchases, or interactions you enter into with advertisers found through our platform are solely between you and the respective third party.

Furthermore, our educational guides may contain hyperlinks to external third-party resources, scientific journals, or hardware manufacturers. We do not inspect, monitor, or control external websites and bear no liability for third-party content, policies, or damages resulting from external visits.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ON TYPER BEAST ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

• The typing engine will operate without uninterrupted, bug-free, or error-free availability;
• Test scores and percentile rankings will guarantee employment or civil service certification; or
• The results obtained from using our diagnostic tools will meet your specific personal requirements.

7. Ergonomics & Health Guidance Notice

Our typing posture guides, home-row techniques, and switch latency recommendations are provided strictly for general informational and educational purposes. They do not constitute clinical ergonomic or medical advice. If you experience persistent wrist soreness, numbness, tingling, or symptoms of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome or Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI), you should consult a qualified orthopedic or healthcare professional immediately.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Typer Beast, its founders, contributors, directors, employees, or agents be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages—including lost profit, lost revenue, loss of data, or other damages arising from your access to or inability to use the platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
